Faye performing live wedding piano music near Davenport, Iowa
Weddings · Quad Cities & Beyond

Your wedding pianist for the Quad Cities

Live music for the part of the day that matters most.

The processional that lands its final chord exactly as you reach the altar. Prelude music that settles the room while your guests find their seats. Those details are the difference between background sound and a soundtrack, and they are the details Faye plans for.

The Shape of Your Ceremony

Every moment, covered

A wedding ceremony has a musical architecture. Here is how Faye builds it with you.

Prelude

20 to 30 minutes of live music as guests arrive and find their seats. It sets the tone before a single word is spoken.

Processional

Music for the wedding party, then a distinct piece for your entrance, paced to your walk so the moment peaks when you do.

Ceremony Moments

Unity ceremonies, signings, readings, and quiet interludes, underscored so nothing ever feels like dead air.

Recessional & Cocktails

A joyful send-off as you walk back up the aisle, and optional cocktail hour music that keeps the energy warm while photos happen.

Wedding pianist FAQ

How much does a wedding pianist cost in the Quad Cities?

Wedding packages start at $500 for the ceremony itself. Adding cocktail hour music, rehearsal dinner coverage, or extra performance time moves the investment up from there, and every quote is itemized before you commit. For a full breakdown of what drives cost, read the pricing guide.

How far in advance should we book?

Popular Quad Cities wedding dates, especially Saturdays from May through October, are often booked 6 to 12 months out. If your date is closer than that, reach out anyway. Openings do come up.

Do you travel outside the Quad Cities?

Yes. Faye performs anywhere within roughly 90 minutes of Davenport, which covers Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Clinton, Muscatine, Galena, Galesburg, and everything in between. Chicago and other longer trips are available by request.

What if our venue does not have a piano?

Not a problem. Faye can perform on the venue's piano when one is available, or bring a digital piano. Sound, power, and placement details are all confirmed during booking so nothing is left to chance on the day.

Can you play outdoor ceremonies?

Yes. Outdoor ceremonies work beautifully with a covered or shaded spot for the instrument and access to power nearby. Those details get sorted in the planning conversation.

Can you learn our song?

Yes. With at least four weeks notice, Faye will learn a specific piece that is not already in the repertoire, at no extra charge for most requests.

When do you arrive?

Faye arrives well before your start time and needs venue access at least 30 minutes before the music begins. Setup is quiet and quick.

How do deposits and payment work?

A 50% non-refundable deposit locks in your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event. Venmo, Cash App, checks, and cash are all accepted, and paying in cash takes 10% off the total.
